Teriyaki Tofu

Ingredients
- 16 ounces of tofu
- 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
- Teriyaki Sauce
- ½ cup tamari sauce
- ¾ cup of water
- ½ tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon powdered ginger
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dark sesame oil
- ½ teaspoon sea kelp
- ½ teaspoon parsley
- ½ teaspoon green scallions
Instructions
- Slice the tofu into 2 inch pieces. Press the tofu between a double layer of dish towels topped with a 3 pound board for 3 minutes. Arrange the slices in a shallow baking pan. Mix the ingredients for the teriyaki sauce. Pour the sauce on the tofu slices and marinate for 1 ½ hours on each side. Drain. Heat the olive oil in a skillet. Add the tofu slices and fry for 3 minutes each side until golden brown. Sprinkle with parsley and scallions.
