Special Tahini Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of sesame tahini
- 3 tablespoons tamari
- 3 teaspoons finely grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon Celtic Sea Salt
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- Several dashes of nutmeg
- Cayenne pepper to taste
Instructions
- Saute the onion in hot oil until tender. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer everything on low heat for about 30 minute. Serve hot over steamed vegetables and grains.
