Onion Sauce

Ingredients
- 4 cups finely chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- ½ cup of water
- 4 tablespoons tamari
Instructions
- Saute the onion in oil and water on high heat, stirring constantly until tender. Add the tamari, parsley, garlic, sugar, turn the heat to medium-low and cover the pan. Simmer for 1 hour and serve over grains or vegetables.
