Lentil Burger

Ingredients
- 2 cups dry brown lentils, cooked until tender, drained
- ¾ cup bread crumbs or cracker crumbs
- 1 cup finely diced onion
- 2 tablespoons arrowroot powder
- 2 tablespoons tamari
- 3 teaspoons chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon dill
- ½ teaspoon Celtic Sea Salt
- Several dashes cayenne pepper
- Several dashes sea kelp
- ½ teaspoon honey
- Tomato juice
- 1 cup chopped celery
Instructions
- Mix the warm lentils with all the other ingredients, using just enough tomato juice to hold the mixture together and shape into burgers. Add extra flour if needed. Heat an oiled frying pan to medium heat. Cook burgers about 15 minutes on the first side and 10 minutes on the other side until nicely browned throughout. Serve without a bun if desired.
