Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small mixing bowl, pour ¼ cup of boiling water over ½ cup of teff grain. Let it stand for 10 minutes. Combine dry ingredients without sifting in a large mixing bowl. Blend the wet ingredients except the teff in a food processor or blender. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry. Add the wet teff grain. Mix all the ingredients together. Brush a large cake pan with oil. Pour in batter. Bake for 45 minutes.
