Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- ½ teaspoon cumin seed
- ¾ cup chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 3 tomatoes, chopped
- 1/3 cup water
- 3 cups of okra
- 1 tablespoon tamari
- 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
- ½ teaspoon Celtic Sea Salt
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- ¼ teaspoon coriander
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- ¼ teaspoon garam masala
- ½ teaspoon chopped parsley
- 1 bay leaf
- ½ teaspoon nutritional yeast
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Place oil in a large saute pan on medium-high heat. Add cumin and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add onion, garlic, ginger, cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add tomatoes and water and cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add okra and cook okra until soft, approximately 8 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and stir well.
