Florentine Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 cups of Roma tomatoes, chopped
- ¼ cup sun-dried tomatoes, soaked in warm water until soft
- 2 tablespoons beets, grated
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon basil, minced
- 1 tablespoon parsley, minced
- 1 teaspoon tamari
- 1 teaspoon nutritional yeast
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ½ teaspoon thyme
- ½ teaspoon savory
- ½ teaspoon Italian herbs
- ½ teaspoon Celtic Sea Salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon sage, minced
Instructions
- Soak the tomatoes in warm water for 20 minutes. Drain and set aside ½ cup of the soaked water. Place in a blender with remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
