Enchilada Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- ¼ cup of water
- 1 28 ounce can of crushed tomatoes
- ½ teaspoon nutritional flakes
- ¼ teaspoon of Herbamare
- 1 4 ounce can chopped green chilies
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon honey
- 1 ½ cups of water
- 1 tablespoon tamari sauce
Instructions
- Place the onion and garlic in a large saucepan with the ¼ cup of water and saute for 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes, chilies, honey, sugar, dill and spices and stir. Cover and cook over low heat for 15 minutes. Add the 1 ½ cups of water and the tamari sauce and stir.
