Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix the wet ingredients together. Sift the dry ingredients into a separate bowl. Slowly stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and beat until smooth. Stir in the nuts last. The mixture should be very thick and barely pourable. Add extra flour or nut milk accordingly. Lightly oil and flour cake pans and scoop in the batter. Bake for 65 minutes until brown or a toothpick comes out clean. Cool the cake before removing and frosting.
