Creamy Basil Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ pound of mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups of fresh basil leaves
- Celtic Sea Salt
- Black pepper
Instructions
- Saute garlic and onions in olive oil for 2 minutes, add mushrooms and saute for 2 minutes. Add 1 cup of water and simmer for 2 minutes. Puree the cooked mushrooms, basil, onions, honey and spices in a blender. If desired add balsamic vinegar to taste.
