Mix the first 5 dry ingredients well. In a separate bowl, mix the remaining wet ingredients well. Slowly beat the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and fold in the nuts. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly oil a baking pan and dust it with flour. Scoop in the batter, smooth the top and bake for 30 minutes. The brownies should be moist and tender. Cool before removing from the pan.
