Black Bean Dahl

Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups of black beans
- 6 cups of water
- ¼ cup of extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoon of cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- ½ teaspoon nutritional flakes
- 1/8 teaspoon of Herbamare
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
- Celtic Sea Salt
- Black Pepper
Instructions
- Rinse the beans in a colander under cold running water. Drain well. Transfer to an 8 quart pot. Add the water and bring to a boil, skimming the excess. Add the oil, garlic, spices, parsley, salt, pepper, honey and sugar. Reduce heat to low, cover the pot and immerse until the beans are tender. The mixture should have the consistency of thick soup.
