Bean Burgers

Ingredients
- 1 cup of cooked beans, well drained and mashed (kidney, adzuki, pinto, chick peas)
- 2 cups steamed vegetables chopped small (carrots, broccoli, celery, bell peppers, peas, asparagus, zucchini)
- 1 cup kamut flour, or bread or cracker crumbs
- ½ cup diced onion
- 2 cloves of garlic, pressed
- 2 tablespoons nut butter (almond, cashew, sunflower)
- 2 tablespoons tamari
- 3 teaspoons chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon Celtic Sea Salt
- ½ teaspoon basil
- Several dashes cayenne pepper
- Several dashes sea kelp
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Mix all the ingredients together well. Add a bit of extra flour or water if desired to create the exact consistency you desire. Roll into patties. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes on each side, until browned.
