Almond Tahini Balls

Ingredients
- 1 16 ounce jar of almond butter
- 1/3 of 16 ounce jar of tahini
- ½ cup of maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds
- ½ teaspoon honey
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- Pinch of cinnamon
- Pinch of cardamom
- ¼ cup chocolate chips
- ½ cup unsweetened coconut flakes
- Chopped walnuts
- ½ teaspoon molasses
- ½ teaspoon allspice
Instructions
- Roast the coconut flakes on a cookie sheet in the oven at 350 degrees for 5 minutes or until golden brown. On a separate sheet roast the nuts for 10 minutes. Finely chop the nuts and set aside. Mix the almond butter and tahini. If you’re using a jar of tahini and almond butter, do not add the oil that collects on the top as it will make the balls mushy. Add the maple syrup, coconut sugar, molasses and stir thoroughly. Stir is seeds, spices, chocolate chips. Form the mixture into small balls and roll individually in the coconut flakes or finely chopped nuts. Chill in the refrigerator.
